Get in touch with Wordsmith Crafts CIC

Want to get involved in helping Wordsmith Crafts? We are putting this prayer into action.

"Help us, who are baptised into the fellowship of Christ's Body to live and work to your praise and glory; may we grow together in unity and love until at last, in your new creation, we enter into our heritage in the company of the Virgin Mary, the apostles and prophets, and of all our brothers and sisters living and departed."

The most immediate and accessible portion of this Heritage is stories, heritage crafts, and post modern survival skills. The Church (in the broadest meaning of the term) has been active in these island since Ninian set up a house of arts and spirituality in late antiquity (while Rome was crumbling) and has a priviliged store of these resources. Wordsmith Crafts provides space and time for people of all faiths and none to take time out to reflect and learn in a hands on way and access this store. To help people enter into their heritage. We view that as handing on the heritage preserved by the Church without making demands, and often appologise for the times the Church has become a vehicle for pesecution and a barrier to helping people enter into their heritage.

At it's core we believe our full heritage is the working out of the divine potential placed within each person before time, through the multiple paths we walk as we co-create within time. "The licht shines i the Mirk", as John wrote. This is what keeps us going and is our "food and drink" - although help in affording actual food and drink is very welcome!

We need supporters, and activated members!
