The combination of sea and land that makes up Northern Europe is a rugged landscape. Before the Kings and Queens were able to regulate coinage its inhabitants still used gold and silver to trade, however they tested and weighed the precious metals themselves.

They would store this wealth as rings, bracelets and other jewellery, hacking it to size as needed. In times of crisis people would bury their treasure, sometimes never coming back to collect it.

These conditions encouraged the production of the simple bold designs featured in in this jewellery range. It relies on the look and feel of the silver, and the hammered patterns for its appeal, rather than excessive manufacturing and polishing.

Each ring is hammer forged from a silver ingot. They are then patterned, tied, or left open to allow for resizing. A minimum amount of polishing is then used to remove any stray edges, but leave the unique character of each ring.

These pictures are only a rough guide! Each item is hand made, and unique, so will vary in detail from those pictured here. I will manufacture rings to fit British, US, European sizes, and circumferences measured in Millimeters.

Please Remember to tell me what size you need! This is important (even for the adjustable rings) although as they are adjustable, measuring your finger by wrapping a strip of paper round it, and then measuring that against a ruler, will be fine.
